Roll out the red carpet, don your best outfit and start making your way onto centre stage! In recognition of the tremendous contribution made by fund staff to the super industry, AIST will again in 2009 be running the 'Awards for Excellence' program, culminating in a gala dinner in Melbourne on Monday 14 December this year at the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.
With entry open to fund staff of any AIST registered super fund, the AIST Awards will again publicly recognise the pursuit of excellence and professionalism of the estimated 3,000 plus fund staff around Australia.
The AIST 2009 Awards will encompass AIST’s Communication Awards, plus individual awards for compliance, investment, operations/administration, marketing and member services professionals as well as a Super Team Award.
The winners of the Individual Awards will each receive a scholarship to the value of $5000 (from the Industry Partner supporting that specific Award) to be used for professional development opportunities. The winner of the Team Award will receive a scholarship to the value of $5000 to be used for team building activities and the winners of the Communications Award will be presented with individual plaques commemorating their achievements. Entry and nominations open on Monday 17 August 2009 and close on Saturday 31 October 2009.
Funds are invited to enter campaigns or projects in the Communication Awards. Individual and Team Award nominations must be endorsed by the CEO or Secretary of the fund.
